Description of NFPA 914 2007

Use NFPA 914 to confidently evaluate the fire and life safety features of historic buildings, and to develop and implement an effective plan of action.

Other significant revisions in the 2007 edition include better correlation with the 2005 NFPA 909: Protection of Cultural Resource Properties--Museums, Libraries, and Places of Worship. Prescriptive as well as performance-based approaches are presented, along with a first-time Annex illustrating compliance alternatives.
