Description of BS EN 60092-507:2000 2013This part of IEC 60092 specifies requirements for the design, construction and installation of electrical systems in pleasure craft. It applies to pleasure craft for inland waters and to seagoing pleasure craft. The standard applies to the following types of electrical system in pleasure craft which have a length of 24 m to 50 m, or which have a gross registered tonnage not exceeding 500 grt:
The standard also applies to three-phase alternating current systems which operate at a nominal voltage not exceeding 500 V, in pleasure craft which have a length of less than 24 m.
Specifies requirements for the design, construction and installations in craft, of length 24m to 50m, for inland waters and sea.
