Description of BS 5782:1979 1979

This standard applies to the interface between numerical controls (for explanations, see Clause 2) and the electrical equipment of industrial machines which are commanded by numerical controls.



Standardizes all compulsory features (and others) necessary for the safe use of equipment used in numerical control of industrial machines. Defines certain signals going through the interface and recommends methods of connection and installation.
