For appliances intended to be used in vehicles or on board ships or aircraft, additional requirements may be necessary. Attention is drawn to the fact that in many countries additional requirements are specified by the national authorities responsible for health, for water supplies and for the protection of labour. In many countries additional requirements for pressure appliances are specified. These appliances are intended for use in professional kitchens, such as those in restaurants and hospitals, and in enterprises such as bakeries and butcheries. For appliances intended to be used in tropical countries, special requirements may be necessary. Applies to steam cookers not intended for household use. It is concerned with safety and takes into account the influence on safety of components necessary to achieve a required degree of radio and television interference suppression.
