1. Scope
1.1 This test method covers the determination of the misting characteristics of lubricating fluids.
Note 1This test method should not be used to evaluate fluids containing solid additives such as graphite.
1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
