1. Scope

1.1 This specification covers the installation and erection requirements for load bearing (transverse and axial) steel studs and related accessories 0.0329 in. (0.836 mm) to 0.1120 in. (2.845 mm) thick.

1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
