VintageView Wine Storage Systems The modern wine cellar has been transformed by the design community, bringing storage out of the basement and into main-floor living in both commercial and residential properties. Proper wine storage is equal parts art and science. This course examines the many storage options, focusing on style, construction considerations, and budgeting. 75 minutes.

  • Discover how wine cellars form an important architectural feature in homes and restaurants.
  • Differentiate between different styles of wine storage.
  • Consider how to build an environmentally friendly, energy-efficient wine storage system.

Faculty BIO

Jacob Harkins is a seasoned wine cellar design and wine collecting expert, having led educational outreach and new wine rack product design processes for VintageView Wine Storage Systems since 2015. He is a certified executive sommelier and former wine writer.
